

Now in its 16th edition, the Simola Hillclimb has cemented its status as South Africa’s premier motorsport and lifestyle event, attracting top drivers, celebrities, and fans from around the world. Set against the scenic backdrop of Knysna, it’s an unforgettable experience for motorsport enthusiasts and families alike.
The 2026 Simola Hillclimb takes place from 30 April to 3 May in Knysna, Western Cape. The action begins with the popular Fan Fest on Thursday and Friday in Hedge Street, featuring live entertainment, car displays, and great food. Friday’s Classic Car Friday sees 65 iconic cars competing for the Classic Conqueror title, followed by two action-packed days of racing as supercars, race cars, and purpose-built Hillclimb machines battle for the coveted King of the Hill titles.

PUBLIC PARKING
Free parking is available onsite in a grass field. Please note it may not suit low vehicles. From here, you can access Gasoline Alley and explore the event grounds.
P1: VIP PARKING
Parking tickets for P1: VIP Parking are available for purchase on Howler only. From this area, spectators can access the Pit Lane and event grounds. P1 is not suitable for low vehicles or General Access ticket holders; Pit Access or VIP Entry is required.
LE MANS VIP LOUNGE PARKING
Le Mans VIP guests receive one parking sticker per two tickets for P1, issued with wristbands from the Welcome Centre in Knysna.
In the event of rain, we suggest spectators make use of the Town> Event Shuttle. Tickets can be purchased from the Shuttle Hub. Visit our website for further information.
Liquor or illegal substances, Food and drinks, Fires, Braais, Pets, Drones or Firearms.

All children to be accompanied by an adult
All handbags, parcels, clothing and other items of a personal nature, may be subject to security checks
Vehicles parked in no parking or the incorrect parking areas are subject to being towed or wheel clamped
All event tickets are non-transferable.
No branding other than event sponsors to be put up ANYWHERE on the event grounds
No branded gazebos or umbrellas. Plain ones are welcome
No crossing into areas that have been fenced, taped or deemed out of bounds
Event Photography / Filming
Photography and filming will take place throughout the Simola Hillclimb.
If you do not wish to be captured in any photographs or video footage, please inform the relevant photographer directly.
General Entry and Upgrade Ticket Refund Policy
Before the Event
There will be a refund fee if you request a refund before the event has started.
More than 30 days prior to the event= 25% Refund Fee.
Between 7 – 30 days prior to the event= 50% Refund Fee.
Less than 7 days prior to the event= 75% Refund Fee.
Special Circumstances = In cases of serious unforseen circumstances that prevent event attendence, refunds will be considered.
After the Event
No Refunds.
